Assert Yourself and Build Confidence - MPDAYBC

This course provides practical guidance for anyone who needs to develop their assertiveness skills for a range of workplace situations. Delegates will gain the tools and techniques to make requests assertively, say 'no' to unreasonable demands and proactively address issues before they become a problem.

Each time we hold back and regret it or blow up and feel guilty we lose an opportunity to forge a productive working relationship. Our success and enjoyment in the workplace is directly related to ourability to assert ourselves in an appropriate way.

At the end of this course, delegates will leave with a personal action plan identifying the changes they need to make and the skills they need to practise in order to improve the way they communicate.
